For graphic novel fans in grades 4 through 7! Join us for the return of our graphic novel book club for kids! Each month we will discuss a specific title and enjoy activities related to the book. Meets one Monday a month from 4:30 to 5:30pm. Limited spaces.
October pick is Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier
Catrina and her family have moved to the coast of Northern California for the sake of her little sister, Maya, who has cystic fibrosis. Cat is even less happy about the move when she is told that her new town is inhabited by ghosts, but Maya sets her heart on meeting one.
Read the book beforehand and prepare for a fun discussion! Copies of the book will be available to check out prior to the meeting. This title is also available to download as an e-book in Libby and Hoopla. Registration opens October 1st.
