Program Description

Body

Discover amazing things that glow bright in the dark and come to light!

Our Glow Show class concentrates on how we perceive light. The nature of fluorescence and phosphorescence are unveiled in a black light demonstration. Students are challenged to find fluorescing materials among common objects. Chemiluminescence is demystified using a flashlight analogy.

Recommended for ages 7-12. Limited spaces. Registration is required.

* This is a summer reading program and to participate you must be registered for summer reading in Beanstack. If you need help registering the circulation desk can help you.
