You might not own a plot of land in Watts, California, but don't let that stop you from building your own Watts Tower!
Join us for an exciting hands-on art experience as we explore the world of Simon Rodia's iconic Watts Towers. Children will have the chance to build their very own mini Watts Towers using a variety of interesting and fun materials to represent the tiles, shells, glass, and wire that Simon Rodia used to create the real Watts Towers! Through this engaging craft activity, kids will learn about the artistic journey of Rodia, the history of the Watts Towers, and how ordinary materials can become extraordinary works of art. It’s the perfect mix of creativity, culture, and fun!
Recommended for ages 7-10. Limited spaces. Registration is required.
