Did you know that the 1st Christmas tree originated in Germany and was placed in the Cathedral of Strasbourg in 1539?  Discover more interesting facts about the history of the Christmas tree in the library's December local history program: WHO KNEW: The Christmas Tree on Tuesday, December 17 @ 6:00 pm.  An encore program will be presented at the library on Friday, December 20 @ 2:00 pm.
