Did you know Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross, was a first responder with Red Cross workers and 50 doctors & nurses to the Johnstown Flood on June 5, 1889 - just 5 days after the disaster? Learn more interesting facts in the next library's local history program: WHO KNEW? The Red Cross on March 22 at 2:00 pm. The programs are presented at the library twice a month: 3rd Tuesday at 6:00 pm or following Friday at 2:00 pm. Registrations are requested.
